Wayfarer has just completed production for the Veolia Environnement Wildlife Photographer of the Year 2012 Awards that took place on Wednesday October 17th, 2012 at the Natural History Museum in London.
Producers Leander Ward and Nolan Hemmings cast and directed a very special presenter double act for the awards; celebrated French photographer, filmmaker and environmental activist Yann Arthus-Bertrand, and British wildlife TV presenter Philippa Forrester. Thanks to both for such a great performance on stage!
Wayfarer also wrote the awards script, produced the graphics via Justin Cornish at Atomic Arts, and directed the music via composer Tom Ingleby of Cue Songs Ltd. A sample of the graphics and music can be viewed on the video page.
Thanks all for a fantastic night, and congratulations to all the winners of the 18 categories that make up the awards, including three awards for young wildlife photographers.
Special congratulations to the Veolia Environnement Young Wildlife Photographer of the Year 2012 award winner Owen Hearn with his image Flight Paths and to the Veolia Environnement Wildlife Photographer of the Year 2012 principle overall winner Paul Nicklen, with his wonderful image Bubble Jetting Emperors.
